It is the responsibility of recruitment offices to receive domestic workers on their first day of work.

It has also stated that the employer is responsible for receiving domestic workers upon their return after leaving Saudi Arabia on an exit and re-entry visa. If anyone has questions about this, they should contact the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD).

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Interior has launched an electronic authorization service, allowing beneficiaries to authorize others to receive female domestic workers when they arrive in Saudi Arabia. According to the Absher platform, the e-authorization service is available in four airports throughout the Kingdom: King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Fahd Airport in Dammam, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, and Prince Mohammed Airport in Madinah.

The e-authorization service period is only 30 days from the date of issuance, according to the ministry, which also noted that the e-authorization service could be canceled during the authorization period.  The service would also follow the Ministry of Interior's requirements and rules.
